Please allow at least 24-48 hours for shipping. If placing a next day shipping order, please call (800) 870.0011 and ask for Paul. If order is placed before 12:00 noon CST, it can usually arrive next day.
Most orders are shipped within 24 hours from the time they are placed. Orders placed after 8:00 am EST are shipped on the following business day. If your order needs to ship on the same day that you place it, we need to be contacted via telephone (800-870-0011) before 2:00 pm EST to get your order prepared in time. This can only be done if 2nd Day or Next Day Shipping is required. We will be glad to accommodate you to the best of our ability.
The contents of all domestic packages are insured.

We use USPS Priority Mail for orders going to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Guam and other US Territories. Insurance is included where available.
Since USPS Priority Mail usually takes only about 3 days to AK, HI and PR, we do not recommend choosing 2nd Day to these locations. If it is important that your order be shipped on the same day that it is placed, we must be contacted via telephone (800-870-0011) before 2:00 pm Eastern Time. Next Day with Saturday Delivery is available for $10 extra and it is only available with Next Day Shipping (please call to verify).
Although most orders reach their destination within 3 to 7 business days from the date they are placed, please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery. If it is important that you receive your order sooner, please use 2-Day or Next Day Shipping.
Shipping to PO Box Addresses, etc.
There is a $3 handling charge for orders shipped to PO Boxes, Colleges, and Universities that do not have street addresses. This fee applies to all domestic locations in which FedEx and UPS do not deliver. To avoid this fee and a slight delay, please provide a street number and name whenever possible. We give discount shipping to APOs.Address Verification
We perform an Address Verification on every Credit Card and this process can take up to two days. Your order will be delayed or cancelled if your bank does not provide Address Verification Service. If we cannot ship your boat on the day you place your order, it will ship on the following business day. Time in transit is generally between 2 and 5 business days, but please allow up to 7 business days to destinations in the Pacific Northwest. Expedited Shipping is not available for boats.
Unlike other retailers, we charge fixed rates for shipping kayaks and canoes—no confusion and no hidden "wrapping charges" or other trickery. The shipping charge for each boat is clearly posted on the boat's Product Information Page. Your total can be confirmed in the final step of the Checkout Section of our website, before your order is actually placed. Shipping charges are posted below. We pay the remainder of the shipping fee so every customer in the 48 states pays the same low price for boat shipping.
We will do everything possible to keep shipping costs on kayaks and canoes to a minimum. To keep these fees to a minimum, Alabama Outdoors pays a substantial portion of the actual shipping cost. The prices above are for business addresses or Old Dominion freight terminals in the 48 states.
Shipping to a residential address costs an extra $100, to cover the extra fee charged by freight carriers for this service. We use Old Dominion Freight Lines whenever possible. If your shipment requires another carrier, additional charges may be incurred. You will be contacted for confirmation of any details and additional charges before the boat ships. We will not apply any additional fees without your confirmation.
